my first picture is our house. i hate our house. our landlords are first class idiots and every month there is something wrong. last month the plumbing was so bad every time we ran the washer water came out of the wall hook up and we couldn't do laundry for like three weeks. this month it's the air conditioner. it doesn't work. now, ordinarily that shouldn't matter in march but it's been in the 80s thi week. and it's horrible. i hate this house. so, the picture makes me sad :-(
east of eden. my favorite book. in a very close second is the river king by alice hoffman, which i read every year. but east of eden is a classic. love it.
